IKTF. Losing a day IS especially painful for us NEETs because we make so much use out of our day. Some would think it would be the opposite, because we have so much time on our hands, what's one day occasionally? But the truth is, even if the wageslave lost a Saturday, it wouldn't really make a difference to him. All he was gonna do was slouch on a chair and blast the tv to try to drown out his shitty life. Maybe he'd take care of a few errands. But he has long forgotten how to live, and because life is such a painful blur regardless, losing a free day doesn't affect him too much. So even though life may speed by him, he no longer knows how to appreciate it so it really doesn't matter that he lost a little bit more. He doesn't truly recognize the potential every day has.
The NEET, on the other hand, has very productive, very rewarding, very fulfilling days. So when he loses one, he realizes how precious a gift he has lost. There are a finite amount of days given to each person, and because the NEET has such a zest for life, such an appreciation for each day, he feels the gravity of losing one of the precious few he has been given far more than the wageslave. He'll move on of course, but it still haunts him a little bit. Even though he has a significantly more rewarding life, and a string of amazing days ahead, he recognizes what he lost. To the NEET, every day is something to be cherished. Because of this, losing one of every one hundred impacts him so much more than a wageslave losing 1 or even 2 of 2.

I once wanted to be a wageslave, but no one would hire me. Since I'm a robot and would be a very efficient worker I can only assume it was because of my terrible social skills. Now I've been a NEET since college 2 years ago. I even still have money left from the poorie grant I got because I literally have no life to spend it on and hardly any vidya captures my attention these days.
