Does anyone else have this problem? I constantly see other people forming lasting friendships with the people they meet online, and sometimes even meeting in real life, but no matter what I do it never happens for me. They always stop being interested in hanging out with me for whatever reason, like they've forgotten about me.
Is it that hard to find people that genuinely care about me and want to be around me?

I only have 1 long term friend and the only reason I still have him is because he always invites me to games and I (almost) always accept. If you're not the type to reach out to people much and those people are just like you then it's a stalemate.

Same happens to me both online and off. I only have one friend left, probably because we've known eachother a really long time. Other than that I've had to give up. I think it's because I'm a sperglord who mostly likes weird shit that most people don't care about. I probably tend to do or say stuff that makes people uncomfortable without realizing it, and I'm generally terrible at carrying on conversations. I think even the most patient just get sick of it after awhile.
