On one hand, my GPA is great and I'm eligible for several scholarships because of it. On the other hand, I'm spending thousands of dollars for practically no challenge, and I fear that I won't be prepared for my field when I graduate

Had a really fucking weird geology professor. Claimed he had psychic powers. Said if he believed hard enough while holding a stick, he could find missing people with the stick. He wouldn't stand near outlets because he didn't want brain cancer. He wore a gas mask when he went outside. Would make us turn our phones off so the radiation wouldn't give him cancer. He threw an explosive mineral in a fish tank and blew out the tank and killed all the fish. He was obsessed with sewage treatment. I had him for two hour lectures twice a week.

I only had one class with him, and it was a required Psychology class, but he'd write a story every week. The reason he'd get away with writing and telling stories is because our professor would tell us to take out a piece of paper and write if we agreed with something or not and why and then would ask people to share what they wrote. It's not like he was responding to a direct yes or no question with a story.

Like I said, I only had one class with him but I'd occasionally see him around campus. Like a lot of colleges there was an anime club. I went to one club "meeting" because they were showing No Game No Life and I'd been meaning to watch it anyways. Gengar kid was in the club and during the showing he'd yell "I don't get it! What's so funny!" whenever people would laugh at a joke or reference. It was clear everyone in the club hated him so he must have done that often.

I forgot to mention how I know he wanted to be called Gengar (apart from the hat). On the first day of our psych class our professor told us that if anyone had a different name they wanted to be referred to as that they could come tell her after class. Gengar didn't even raise his hand and just started telling the professor that he wanted to be called Gengar in the middle of a full lecture. Some people started laughing, but he got really mad and insisted he was serious. I managed to find him on Facebook through the class page and he had changed his name and profile picture to Gengar as well. He also had painted his nails purple, which I guess isn't that weird but I suppose goes along with this story.
