i never had a shitty first day doing anything, they rarely actually give you anything to do. most of the shitty days for me have come when you've been doing something for a while and start to cut corners or fuck around and someone finds out and bitches you out

It was busy that day so I was a bit stressed and also I'm super meticulous about wrapping cookies well so sometimes I take awhile. She just insulted me while I was standing right there like I'm not listening.

>giant warehouse in winter
>have to sort the mail based on area code
>manlet boss comes over and tells me i'm too slow
>moves me to another line on my own by the warehouse doors
>minus temperatures and it's fucking freezing
>keeps coming over and yelling at me for being slow
>find out through other workers that he's an absolute prick to everyone and gets off on it
>quit a few weeks later
