Why do so many people prefer supernatural explanations, and completely ignore the natural ones?
For example being more likely to believe in the Mandela effect, than you just having a shit memory.
Can someone who honestly believes in this shit please explain your thinking process?

Ignorance is bliss. It's why religion was or the concept of a god was always around, it's much better to hear there's a mysterious force at work than hard facts

it makes life more interesting so they want it to be true
Most of it is normalfags being retarded for a source of entertainment
That said I do have a few parts of my past where I was told explicit lies about things from multiple sources that are no longer true today but it's much easier to believe in a psyop or those people being fucking retarded than a shift in consciousness
Reality is plastic

Mandela Effect seems like a normie meme like flat earth to make fun of conspiracies and paranormal. Most of it is trivial shit like letters getting flipped. Supposedly the shadow government knows how to time travel and they are testing it out with minor shit changes like changing Berenstein to BerenstAin. It's kind of fun to see what they will come up with next. Usually it is a word where one's expected spelling gradually replaced the real spelling (Diff'rent Strokes). Other times it is the simple case of confusing a tall black guy with another in a genie movie (they all look the same anyway.)
