I'm about to go to a job interview that's 45 minutes away from where I live for a job that pays 11-12 dollars an hour that may/may not even end up hiring me to begin with.
I don't really know if there is too much of a point to my thread. I just wanted to complain.
What's the farthest you guys would be willing to drive to work? This is going to be an extra 90 minutes out of my day, five days out of the week. It sucks dick, but at the same time, its nowhere near a good enough reason to not take the job if its offered to me. I fucking hate job interviews. Something about the prospect of getting up, grooming and cleaning myself, dressing nice, driving somewhere, trying to sell myself and interact with people I don't care about, and then driving home without actually getting anything out of the deal just doesn't sit well with me. Best case scenario they give me a soul sucking job I'll end up hating. Worst case scenario this is a big waste of time and effort that will amount to nothing.
I always just say fuck it and move to be within 10-15 minutes of where I work.

>Moving just to make your commute to work less of a pain in the ass.
I'd consider doing this if I wasn't doing a near minimum wage, entry level job that I probably won't work at for longer than six months anyways. Plus, I don't make enough money to make moving out and having to pay rent financially responsible considering I can live at my parents rent free for just a bit more driving each work day.

You should consider technical college or whatever

I would do anything for money. I know what it's like to _actually_ not have money and it sucks.
45 minutes is fucking nothing. You asking that fucking offends the person I was 15 years ago when I would have literally driven 3 hours each way and sucked a dick to have ANY job.
Fuck off robot, ditch the interview and let someone else who NEEDS the job get it.

My current " job" is an hour and a half away by bus. I hate it but it gives me purpose and a reason to get out of bed and I have used the money to fix my old bike and a few things I need . It will suck but it's better than being unemployed .
