One if the big issues for youth is the inability to remove themselves from the situation so that they can focus on building that will power and confidence.
I wan't really able to sort myself out till I was able to move out of town at 21, make something of myself since I no longer felt like I was drowning in the people and situations around me causing the depression, then move back to my home town a better person.
I'm in my 30s, I more browse r9k out of a bit of morbidness, since in a lot of ways its a reflection of how I was, which is a contrast of how I am.
