Go back home, try again the next day. You'll get further. Then again. It takes about 3 days to notice the results and about 2 weeks to get nice results.

but you will improve fast and you will notice it

I was really sick and sedentary for a while and had some arthritis. I couldn't WALK for 5 minutes without my feet, ankles, and hips starting to hurt. Eventually made it up to 20 minutes, about a mile. Now I can jog 3 miles with no issues.

A good way to start is to run a bit, then walk, then run again. You build endurance without pushing yourself.

Running will cause joint injuries, please dont hurt yourself.
Either walk or go to /n/ and get a bicycle.
I cycle for at least an hour a day, still fat but it cured my depression.

kinda? take it easy on yourself. a good way to build stamina is to alternate running 1 minute with walking for 2, that can keep you moving longer than you otherwise might, give your heart and lungs more time exercising.
