I work at a Dairy Queen and I make $10.75 and the .75 is pretty much a buffer against the tax and bc I'm a student I also don't get taxed as heavy. So I pretty much get like a 10 flat an hour. It's lit eat shit smelly NEETs

Daily reminder that people on benefits in the UK can claim up to 25K a year. I recently got a degree in radiography and I won't even make 25K a year while actually working full time, including night shifts and weekends.

At my last job, i worked overnight at walmart in produce. They started me off at 12/hr. Because my last job was also retail and i had it for about 2 years. "Job stability" they said.
It actually wasn't that bad.

Well back in the 70's you could work a pleb tier job and still clock up enough to buy your own house.

Can't do that these days since our industry was destroyed in the 80's, you pretty much need a degree now to get anywhere.

I get off monday to wednesday but work 5pm-10pm friday/thrusday and all day saturday/sunday. I have to take stock counts/answers to any stock loss/buy stock/train staff/hire bar staff. I wont deny the fact I got very lucky.
