I was in one 11 years ago and a couple months ago. Both times were involuntary, and I hated that I couldn't just leave of my own free will.

I was in one for ten days back in January. Now Im diagnosed with psychosis, OCD, depression, GAD, social anxiety.

Whats wrong with you my dude?

yeah its my 3rd time in one of these places

i was locked up twice wen i was 16 whats cool about the adult ward is they cant keep you for more than 3 business days
when i was a minor i had no say and ended up staying for months

No they take away anything you can use to kill yourself like belts, shoelaces, etc, and they take away anything sharp and put you on a schedule that you have to follow that includes group therapy, meeting with a psychiatrist, etc, and the rooms are shitty. I hated sleeping on the beds there
