hey so if someone is having like panic attacks regularly do you think it's time to visit a doctor? what do you think they will do? I think I'm a hypochondriac and I'm trying to say as little about myself as possible so you guys wont make fun of me but also i want help and maybe this is just a way to get attention but like if you are a hypochondirac how do you deal with that? last time i went to the doctor he seemed to act like i was just wasting his time and i really dont want to go through with that but its seriously negatively effecting my life

No need to see a doctor OP, they'll just give you shitty drugs you don't need.
When you have a panic attack just observe the symptoms and thoughts, detach yourself from the moment of fear and turn it into a moment of observation, eventually through observation you'll see the thoughts, feelings, and symptoms dying down, and once you know you can handle the panic you won't be afraid of them anymore thus your panic attacks will slowly become less of a worry until they're irrelevant.

Don't go to the doctor. They're a bunch of quacks, I tell you Johnny. Instead, lock yourself in a very large pitch black room, spin around until you have lost all sense of direction and stay in there and focus on your panic. Accelerate your adrenaline as much as you can by focusing on what terrifies your subconscious the most and try and incite a heart attack with all your might. Chain yourself down to the foundation if you have to and stay in there until you piss yourself. Once you accept helplessness, take a Chinese finger trap out of your pocket and masturbate. Psychiatrists charge a shit load and even good insurance doesn't cover it fully, I know.

Go see a doc op, tell them you are having panic attacks, they will ask basic health questions and general mental health stuff but nothing intrusive and prescribe accordingly.

Ok first of all you should go.to a dr if you really do not feel well, if this dr looks down at you for "wasting his time" i think the dr is full of bs, desu as far and bad we may see it like its their job to attend people for examinations even if they're not sick, change and see a different dr, tell the dr what you experience etc , yes maybe he would asses you to pyschiatrist, and this my friend , is a dr who has a speciality not a "fake dr" wtf, but on my personal experience, i used to have those kind of episodes you describe, and they were triggered by dumb shit and heavy depression, and before that i used to go to a pyschologist, and she said it was "normal" but she made me feel worser (and it was my 2nd pyschologist sooo) and i stopped going and i got WAY better since then, but everyone is different, some people get better with meds + therapy but i got "better" by focusing more in my university studies and my health on my own, i havent gotten any -anxiety attacks- since January i believe? and what i try to do is just try to make.my.feelings less intense and try to distract my thoughts, its hard but dude if I could.do it so can you! , but do get help and professional advice

Yes, visit a doctor! I did and he gave me tips on how to regulize my breathing. I still have a panic attack once a month but I used to get them daily. GO SEE A DOCTOR AND DON'T LISTEN TO THESE OTHER TWATS.

First thing you need to do is understand that a panic attack is completely harmless. You will not die, or faint, or go insane, even though this is exactly how it feels like. So, whenever you feel like you're having one, just do deep, slow inhaling and exhaling, so slow that you wouldn't move a leaf if it was in front of your face. Also, tell yourself that this is just a panic attack and you are in no way in actual danger health wise, nor do you have some underlying medical condition. Overall you should learn to not think too much. This is what helped me beat it. If you want you can go see a specialist, but do not take any drugs they might try to give you, as they will cause personality changes. Maybe go to a psychoanalyst and talk about how you feel for a few sessions
