Whenever I take MBTI tests I always get either INTP, INTJ, or ENTP depending upon how the questions are worded. Given the objectives of the tests I should probably give more credence to results I've gotten that focus on how I feel/think which would suggest I'm an INTP, yet at the same time I find myself unable to relate to a lot of INTP archetypes. Speaking of relationships, those are absolute hell if you're an INTP, because the media keeps feeding you this idea that in a perfect relationship couples are supposed to talk to each other about everything and really get a long. Personality is something you can definitely change though. High school was my aspie phase and I was a socially awkward fuck until near the end of my senior year. In that period, I would be considered a failed normie or cyborg, as I longed for many social relationships, but the fact that I was an awkward fuck and that I went to a ghetto high school didn't really help me make too many meaningful relationships. However, near the end of high school, I got fed up with my relative loneliness so I decided to actually strive to change my personality, though this wasn't really prominent until my first year at uni. That's when the change was most prominent. I forced myself to be social and went to as many social events as I could, which allowed me to get to know a lot of people and even fug some thirsty bitches, as well as giving me a more confident personality in general. Forcing myself to stop being such a scared cunt was one of the best things I could've ever done for myself.

tl;dr: Force yourself to leave your comfort zone. It's worth it. Risk v. Reward type of thing. You may stumble at your first few attempted, but keep trying and you will eventually succeed and make social gainz and relationships in the process.

Funny. What would an INTJ see in an INFP? I think most of them would be annoyed by INFP's feelings and airheadness. Or maybe you find it endearing?

I love INTJ's analytical way of seeing things, but never understood why would the opposite happen.

Yeah seriously man. As I approach 30 I'm wondering whether I'll ever be able to organize and make really good use of my fucking brain. I spent a lot of time with both of these people. The first one is someone who I spent hundreds of hours playing with online. I never met him in real life
their was countless times when he told me he was going to kill himself and would be crying and shit but I was too autistic to know what to do, luckily he had other friends.

The second one was also a depressing fag but was just so fucking nice to me it was unreal, I knew this one in real life and can remember wondering if he liked me back until he went out with someone else.

Yeah. The problem is that when I start combing through things, I can't stop finding tangents and doing more expansion/exploration than consolidation. Burning things isn't allowed because every experience can be clarified and every theory can be improved... so going back and thinking things over tends to produce more possibilities than conclusions. I also have no idea what I should/really feel at any given time because of this. I keep a journal but whenever I rationalize my feelings I second-guess whether this or that was really why I felt anything.

I mean second guessing yourself if fine, and going on tangents is also fine. Lord knows I do it.
But you also have to be able to burn away the shit that just isn't useful any longer, like previous ideas that have been already developed. If for some reason in the future those ideas are improved upon in a different way by someone else then go back and reobserve the method with which you landed at your conclusion.

I don't get why so many INTPs on this board are unable to function. I admit that I don't genuinely "feel" emotion, but I've learned to feign it and act the way the normies want/need me to act in the given situation. It's really all down to figuring out the motivations of others and then doing what you need to do to make it seem as though your motivations align or otherwise currying favor with people who may be helpful in the future.

Fellow INFP here. Yep, the world sucks, but i'm coming to terms with that. I used to fall in a pit of bitterness and depression when disappointed by people and the world...no more,tho. If they fuck with me i'll fuck them up too! MBTI put a lot of things about myself in the right perspective. I was born this way, and a lot of people seems sooo different from me because they have different functions and my type is kinda rare, but there's other people like me out there, i realised i'm not a freak, just a rare breed.
