does anyone else find the concept of being reincarnated disturbing?

I think about this all the time. I know if I was reincarnated I probably wouldn't have memory of my past lives but the thought of being someone else scares me so badly

Good thing then reincarnation is just a fairy tale. When you die your consciousness simply ceases to exist.

I was definitely a tiger at one point, if dreams have anything to do with it. It was the only first person dream I can remember having.

I find it comforting desu. What I find even more comforting though is the idea that I keep living this life over and over again until I get it right. After I die, time will reset back to 1995 and I'll be born again and get to try again, making different decisions. After I die, time resets back to 1995 and I do it all over again.

Of course this is very unlikely to be true but I like to believe it. And who can tell me I'm wrong?
