I got lucky; My one and only remaining "friend" (my drug dealer) vouched for me for a job at a dispensary when one of his friends said he needed help, and me and that guy bonded over running the place together, and getting fired almost at the same time, (lol), and he's Mr. Popular and afforded me many chances to widen my social circle because hanging out with him meant I also met all HIS friends, whom soon became my friends too because reasons plus the fact that I had got in shape a few years ago and was attractive by this point.
