2011-2014: Feel era. Full of feelposting, blogging, NEETs, red pill autism, and misogyny. Moot deleted the board out of disgust, but had the moral fiber to restore it (to the loss of almost everybody). It was easy to find emotionally affecting threads where people were talking about the worst things that ever happened to them, alongside redpill stuff with unreal hatred for women.

Then, wizchan drew away the angriest, saddest people, and this board started poking fun at itself. Smug Pepe gave rise to manchild stories, which eventually led to REEEEEEEE, POO POO PEE PEE, Good Boy Points, tendies, and other awful memes. /r9k/ became the darling child of /r/4chan and the population was almost wholly replaced by redditors and teenage memers, leading to

2014-21XX: Cancer Era. Plenty of bait, highshoolers trying to find internet girlfriends, more trap threads than /b/, interracial spam, /soc/ content, fetish posting, and porn. There's basically no reason to be here anymore, and almost every intelligent oldfag has left this board and quite possibly this website.
