Because men are more advanced human beings than woman. A man is just woman 2.0. He can be dominant when in his final form, but can also be submissive. So a man has more options but he will always be a man.
Women will always want to be submissive in at least one thing as they aren't as developed as men. Some may be more dominant but they'll never reach the man's level of dominance.
Men are simply more varied. I wish more women were more dominant though.
