>quit job
>$4000 in bank account
>money draining slowly, playing vidya all day, not looking for work yet
This is great, but I wonder how long I can keep it up.

It can keep up forever
But I have rent and no neetbux. Thankfully it's fairly cheap and that's pretty much all I have to pay other than food

Get a job before you fuck yourself with the rent

In my experience 2 (maybe 3 depending on expenses) months then the 3rd (Or 4th) will be rough. Recommend finding work when you've made it around 60% through your savings
>tfw $17000 to my name
living frugally, how long can I sustain myself being an independent NEET?
for me, that lasts about half a year. I've been doing the same thing for a while. once I get low I'll go back to work until I save up enough to last a while, usually around 5 months, and then back to the NEET life again. sometimes I wonder if it would be better to get into a higher paying industry, but I don't think it would be since the high turnover rate in the jobs I do are pretty much necessary for switching jobs so often.

couple of years if you're being REALLY frugal
depends what you spend on bills
