I've started walking at 5 AM and it's brilliant. I used to take nightwalks but I was scared of muggers and drunk normies, but 5 AM is the perfect time. It's after most of the normies are back home, and before all the old ladies go out. It's dark most of the year too.
Why not walk at 5?

Because that is a couple of hours past my already shitty bedtime, or several hours before I should be waking up. Either way.
The muggers at night is a meme too. Muggings happen during the day.
5AM is actually when both foot and car traffic picks up which defeats the purpose of a nightwalk. I can walk in the middle of the street at night.
Although it is comfy to see the sun come up. I used to work midnight to 6 and I'd see the sun cresting over the horizon and it was p cool
