Why did I think going out was a good idea robots?
>See add at one of the seven (7) Local pubs (red flag)
>its a comedy special done by a man I've always enjoyed (the guy from housos/fat pizza)
>only thing on the add is the date
>ok.jpg
>tonight rolls around. Decide I'll go because fuck it I wanna do -something- this year
>go in, stacey at the bar is visibly confused when I ask about the time, price and how exactly you get a ticket. Has to ask a barfly for answers
>literally nobody knows where in the pub the show is, when it starts or what the tickets are for
>Spend a half hour sitting outside in the cold with others waiting
>see people eating during this time- where are they getting the food from? Every ordering place is clearly for alcohol
>eventually get weasley'd by some short fat woman and her brood and follow them like a lost puppy
>eventually its worked out that the show is happening in some side room. People are already in there but others are barred
>everyone randomly forms a line. Stand for 20 minutes
>Get inside, it's hot, cramped and the first 10 normies in have taken every available seat either themselves or hoarding them for friends
>spend another 15 minutes standing, sweating on aching feet. Watching normals drag chairs in through a side door that is swiftly locked
>decided fuck this and make for the exit- stopped by a cabbie who knows my name. So I figure I might as well stay since I'm near the main door now and can steal a chair of my own
>10 minutes later the show begins
>Normies are loud, the room is small and there are far too many people crammed inside
>Suffer through maybe a half hour of a 2-hour aural onslaught before Nopeing out
>get maccas on the way home. Resolve never to do something like this again
Why did I think it'd be a good idea to go out? I don't even like going to the movies because it's too fucking loud, and I'm not even full-blown "sounds trigger autistic fits" I just wanna play warfame and erp now..
