I'm tutoring a girl that got an english degree from an ivy league and she found a lot of good jobs with it through networking and internship opportunities at said school but now she's going back to school to be a vet. Said the work fucking sucks, unfulfilling work. There's jobs, you just have to go to an ivy league and hope you don't find the work soul crushing so you go back to school years later to study what you should have in the first place

pretty normie tier shit but some of the jobs on the list are interesting, you just need to talk to the right people and be prepared to do some boring work. i'm personally looking forward to getting into creative marketing.
Are you interested in english and writing or does it just happen to be the only thing you're good at?

Don't concern yourself with education fitting for a career. Trust me, you can get a job in any field with any education, educations are near-useless anyway.
Either do a study that just seems interesting personally or don't go to school at all and instead intern somewhere related to whatever career interests you. I'm sure CEOs wouldn't mind someone to get them coffee for free and you can put that on your resume.
