Anyone else able to attract girls but end up getting rejected for being so beta?

Recently i had a girl who i was seeing for about a month literally tell me she couldn't do it anymore because i'm too beta. She didn't use those exact words, but she said she's looking for someone more forward and blunt like her, someone who knows more what they want, etc. She said hanging out with me felt 'forced and stressful' and not natural enough. Pretty bullshit considering she always told me she enjoyed spending time with me prior to. So much for her being a 'genuine and straightforward' person. She didn't make it easy on me either, half the time conversing with her felt like i was on a comedian in front of a very dull and cynical audience. I had to impress her, and i failed.

I'm able to get girls' attention, but i can never keep one. One would think i would have learned a thing or two by now and changed a bit, but i have not.
