I have had this surgery, I'm putting on my trip so you know what replies are mine.

I had this surgery when I was 14 and spent 9 days in hospital and 3 weeks at home. I went back to school and the only really bad experiences in the recovery were:
>overdosed on morphine (not life threatening but I was given a very generous dose which lead to sickness, drowsiness and low heart rate)
>the car journey from the hospital to my home

What else would you like to know anon? Are you undergoing the operation soon?
