WoW has never been about difficulty, just time sinking

spending three literal days of playtime to get top tier gear that will be obsolete in a week

Private classic servers can alleviate the brunt of this issue, as they are not patching new shit in every week.

I've considered both options, to be honest.
And I don't play on Blizz servers since I'm only working part time and can't manage to pay for subscriptions.

But yeah, I'm also looking into starting my own server. I have a bit of experience in this field and from what I've read, it doesn't seem that big of a hazzle.
