as an alcoholic i just try to eat as much as I can
usually a lot of breads and meats, mostly because i'm lazy but they're also filling
just find if my stomach is full the pain isnt bad at all

You can try prilosec OTC
It reduces stomach acid production
I have NSAID-induced ulcers from back when my arthritis was really bad and it helped me

Imo it can cause indigestion and stuff though so it's best not to rely too much on it.

Switch your drug of choice to opiates. They feel similar to alcohol while being 1000x more enjoyable. They also cause little to no damage to your body. There are addicts that inject heroin for decades, and the only health problems they face is from their dirty ass needles. Alcohol is cheaper but you can only do it for a short time before you start dying.
