I don't think it was purely the rape that gave me schizophrenia but I think it was a factor that spiraled in to it.I guess You shouldn't blame all my problems on others but rape making me weird is kinda justifiable

Mix of both. People can have the gene that causes schizophrenia but not have enough trauma in their lives to activate it. Schizophrenia is quite literally physical changes to the brain so if they experience something traumatic enough they can get it later in life.
