I went to BYU, and I honestly believe that the more the school does to combat this the more desperate people will be to seek it out. I got an honor code violation and basically kicked out of school because I would give girls a couple of wine coolers so they'd have an "I don't remember" excuse to blow me or get their pussies destroyed.

Never huge parties though, just "study buddies" or another 1 on 1 excuse.

The biggest parties were work parties, not college parties. I was a Front End Manager (Backup CSM) at kroger while going to school, and let me tell you, you get the perfect blend if you set up a party:

3 or 4 late 20s burnouts who buy booze and bring drugs expecting to get lucky (never happens).

The early-20-somethings working to pay off college who are always stressed, usually end up being the on-purpose craziest ones. Bring some trash tier beer they had at home, always end up fucking someone.

The HS age employees for whom alcohol is still fun and new, these kids get super fucked up and then you can basically do what you want with them. High turnover, because they are always quitting or getting fired. Not respected.

It's not like the movies but people do have fun, a lot of fun compared to /r9k's life.

But I was one of the poorest students of a commuter college in a small town.
Most others had a paycheck coming in by their parents every month. Most of them middle class.

I had to live out of town for financial reasons, I had to rely on bus service, and that means I actually couldn't go out at nights.

So yeah, uni did suck for me but it doesn't suck for everyone.
If you look decent and either have money or friends from your income bracket, you will at least get laid at some point.
