are there any robots here who "cured" themselves by travelling? i feel like just up and leaving to get far away from my family/hometown.
I want to go to Venice for a weekend.
I don't care if I'm alone but I don't speak Italian and my English -when I'm speaking- is worst

when i traveled with people i became much more confident, sociable, and carefree. i obviously didn't have access to my computer and it kept me from sleeping in or worrying about "what to do today." with everything being new, there was constantly something to talk about or do.
traveling alone is probably not going to do anything, you'll be outside of your comfort zone as a person who has no real comfort zone. it only makes sense if you're going from rural to city to try bar hopping or some big music event, or if you're going from city to rural to hang out with folksy people around a bonfire
BUT, going out on hikes in the woods or down rivers or whatever cannot be emphasized enough as a huge benefit for your mental health.

I wish I could travel, but have no money. If anything I just want to see/study historical shit around the world.

This.
The lack of money is what stops me. I had the chance to see Italy when I was younger, I want to see more of it but I don't have a single euro.
