>graduated college
>applying for jobs
>a week goes by and I get a call from wal-mart
>they offer interview for job I didn't apply for
>it's loading boxes out of a truck for minimum wage
>40 minute drive to get there
>agreed to go for interview for some stupid reason
What's the point? Is this a bad decision?
Furthermore, how can companies get away with shit like this? It's a complete slap in the face for them to offer me shit like this that I didn't even apply for.
I work nightshift at walmart it's not too bad desu
my cousin waited a year to get a job for his major, called like 400 people and flew to eight different states
he ended up getting a crappy job he hates that pays 80k a year, he's getting his masters while working to hopefully find better prospects

$80k isn't that bad, all things considered

It's not that I wouldn't work at Walmart, it's that the job is a 40 minute drive every day even though I'd only be making minimum wage.

>>the job is a 40 minute drive every day
Take the job and then start putting in for transfers to a Walmart closer to you. Or just move closer to work.

yeah but a year of no callbacks, that's painful
and he worked his ass off too, I felt bad (and secretly happy, cause my life is shit and I enjoy the suffering of others)
and he has loans, sucks even more
college sucks balls
