Could be way way worse. I'm rather privileged since I have a family that supports me and is well off financially: they own two properties and get decent renting income off them.

The real trouble with my life is a pesky illness that has fucked me over the last 4 years. Oh, this is a huge fyi to anybody that thinks they have GERD: chances are you probably don't. A lot of GERD cases in young people with anxiety problems are caused by the nerves becoming hypersensitive to acid due to the bad effects of all that adrenaline. That's what I have and have been struggling to get a handle on since it's essentially chronic pain. Doesn't let me sleep and the drugs to treat it make me extremely drowsy. Sucks but I'll pull through I hope.

what are your plans? have you made a list of possible comfy jobs you could do?

NEETs, this will be your life some day. In the US they review your disability case every 2 to 7 years. If they decide you are perfectly capable of working (which you are) you're fucked.

It only ever goes if you manage to become a normie, which doesn't happen for most people who get on it for reasons of having mental disorders.

The hardest part about getting disability is getting it in the first place, once you're on, it's hard to ever come off unless you actually blossom into a normie, which doesn't usually happen for people who aren't suffering from physical disorder (which usually heal over time)
