How was your day? Mine was... something special.
>Be intern at small art school
>Await new job assignment for today
>Nothing to do
>Think about going home early
>One guy named Wally says he needs help clearing out a shed behind the building
>Fine, whatever
>Arrive at shed
>Smell something vile
>Tell Wally about it
>Wally smells it, too
>Look at concrete ground
>There's a fucking featherless fly-covered chick carcass lying there
>Panic
>Wally asks what is wrong and unknowingly walks in the direction of the itty bitty corpse
>"Wally sto-"
>Crunch, followed by squirt, followed by Wally jumping in terror and landing on the pavement
>Help Wally up
>No injury
>Pick up flattened baby bird with shovel
>Feels gross
>Can't stop gagging
>Throw it in a bin far away from the shed and come back
>The stench is still there
>There is no way a bird that small could secrete an odor this foul
>Wally and I try to take out items to see what died in there
>The scent so strong, it's like a force field
>Try breathing through mouth
>Mouth instantly tastes like black milk from a witch's tit
>Vomit
>What a waste of a good burrito
>Wally and I nope the fuck out of here
>Tell supervisor what happened
>Supervisor tells us we don't have to clean the shed
>Wally and I sit in the empty sculpting room in total silence
>Go home
>MFW I still can't get the smell out of my head.
