That is terrible advice, there are several combos (NSAIDS together) that are bad to take together. There are a ton of pain relievers that contain Tylenol you can accidentally mix with Tylenol. Only some of the combos are friendly to mixing like the one you said, Tylenol + Advil, and even then you might not want to go to max dosage of both.
