Help me robots, my family is in the process of trying to celebrate my 18th birthday with me. It's the most depressing thing ever. I used to like mexican food 3 years ago, so of course my dad puts on some mexican music while my mom is preparing tacos or something. I just wanted to spend time alone. My stacey sisters and parents feel sorry for me only because we're related by blood.
In all honesty I don't even like mexican food, and the pity that my family is showing me just depresses me even further.

Happy birth day man, and don't worry most likely your family likes you due to the fact of you guys living together, I'm assuming this is the case at least. Most people form bonds with those they see everyday and its normal for that to occur. Blood relation is simply not a strong enough faster to fully cause it.
