"Let the Right One In" (swedish movie from 2008) is really good. Haven't seen the English remake with Chloe Grace Moretz but I doubt it is as good

I found What We Do in the Shadows to be very good, but it's more of a comedy mockumentary, so if you're looking for something more serious it might not be what you're looking for.
