Personally I find anime to fill that void pretty well. There's just so much of it its almost an endless supply as opposed to normal tv where the shit is very hard to watch. I also have shit taste so I have an even larger backlog

All I do ever do is cycle through games, tv/anime, books, internet and sleep and fapping. When one gets boring I try to switch to another. If they all are boring I'll just sleep. If I don't wanna sleep I'll do random crap like stare at a wall until I feel bored enough to begin the cycle anew
