Can't argue against that, but using r9k as a metric to grade finance against, say, other fields where people get bitches and also aren't slaving away to make presentations that nobody really gives a fuck about and contributes/innovates little in today's world, with the downturn of '07-'08 still lingering on people's minds...it's a mitigation, not a feature.

This is not an industry to find a fulfilling career, unless you're in a few specific areas (fintech, for instance, is one place I'd laud).
