What's the education level needed? Also I keep getting server maintenance engineer when I Google it

Any general computing degrees cover it, there is also microsoft courses for it but its really hard to get hired with it, you need to know someone in the company or hope they are hiring junior technicians

I guess I should specify something in the app/website creation/maintenance/database/security areas. I really don't wanna be a Photoshop monkey. I'm already an excel monkey

Reeeee don't insult my trade!
Speaking of which, there are many things to do with photoshop that are generally fun, such as old picture restoration etc. Etc. Miniscule things that people pay hefty.
When i was picking trades i could've picked either web-creation related course or the general media technician coure, i ultimately picked latter. I guess web-creation and coding ain't my thing.

The problem is the ones I know in that area don't get paid that much and it's become a program that every other person knows and is good at
Business administration. Like office clark, data entry and those sort of jobs.
In my job I work application forms and a take/make a few calls, its the perfect job for me because I hate manual labour and also conversing with people.
It's not really a skilled job but companies who have a shit load of data/accounts/processes rely on people like myself do repeat boring and mundane things on a computer with a high degree of accuracy.

So do you need a business administration degree?
>>37585620
Not really. Though it would probably help. Find a business in your area that rely on data bases and IT. Learn everything that the company does and you will become an asset to them. The degree makes getting through the door that much easier.

>tfw I would love a job like this but I have a stammer so talking on the phone is out.

still need a degree but you get paid like a programmer to basically use someone else's program and make sure that it works.

Not gonna lie, I thought this was some smartass answer
>>37586014
das' called a QA engineer, boy
>>37586305
