I don't want to go to cons or events, too many people and too social. Girls mostly just cosplay for slutting/attention whoring so that puts me off too. Also it's expensive, if I'm spending money on clothes I'd rather it be cute pretty clothes to wear normally.

You don't. Women into those hobbies are rare enough that the few that do exist can be broken into two categories:

1. Roasties who are into it, at least partially, for the attention they receive from men
2. Women who are actually legit interested in the hobby, and therefore are annoyed at being assumed to be the former, as well as being annoyed at the constant attention they receive from men

I don't think it is a coincidence that the only girls who I have ever met who are anywhere near as into vidya and anime as I am are in relationships with men who are way less into them; given how rare these women are, they essentially have a much higher value on the dating market. So they'll date a guy who maybe plays some vidya but is really more of a Chad, because they aren't dedicated to the hobby in way a real gamer is. That way they don't have to date one of the constant and significantly less attractive admirers in the actual gaming community.
