I just checked, and it's 10 threads currently, so 10/141, or 7% of the board. Only three of these (2.1%) are non-trap gay, and traps have long been a part of /b/, /d/, /gif/ and the site's history in general. The term originated here. Linetrap was a decade ago. It's existed for a lot longer than whatever you consider "now" to be.

What culture? Free speech? Irreverence? Disdain for pearl-clutching soccer moms offended by things like porn or video games? Trap shit seems to fit in with all of these. As for /r9k/, it hasn't been the OC board it once was for a long time, by its current population it's the default designated mentally ill failure-at-life hangout. Traps fit into this as well, and they're greatly outnumbered by non-trap losers.

It's like that on /soc/ as well. The problem is that gays and trannies are special snowflakes who literally have nothing but dicks on their mind all day long and therefore post them everywhere.
