bikes are objectively the best way to get around.
tell me again why you would ever use anything other than a bike for commuting, again?
>>
I mean, sure. If you live and work downtown, but if like many of us you need to commute 30mins-1hr by car one way, it is extremely inconvenient to use a bike.
>>
>>37572061
You can actually be cited for drunk riding and I've seen it happen. Usually cops just let you die and laugh at your stupidity while scraping you off a bus.

Reminder: just because you don't need a license doesn't mean there aren't any rules. Ride safe or get rekt.
>>
>>37572061
If you're not athletic you run the risk of getting rekt in a major city, especially by cabbies. Cycling is def the superior mode of transportation in 2017, though.

In most places it is actually illegal to ride a bike drunk, it is still considered a vehicle on a public road

In some places they can even take away your driving license (assuming you have one)
>>
>>37572364
i dont think the guys who bike seriously give a fuck about their swole thighs.

at a certain point they get past the point of caring about their body image and they see their legs as a sign of their progress

Its fucking gay if you aren't going downhill at +25mph, and picking them up and carrying looks even stupider. At least a real skateboard can ollie up a curb and is carryable.
>>37572397
Quite a bit more acceptable, and better than the fags that put longboard wheels on regular skateboards. A wide width and tail, with the smoothness of longboard wheels is pretty top teir.

Either you're one of those faggots that blows through stops, or you just stay on highways or major streets. Riding on high gear is god-tier, but starting from high gear is garbage; shifting makes it all great.
>>
>>37574807
I have a bike with 7 speeds, a fixed gear bike and an electric one.
>>
>>37573784
Yes. Not as efficiently as squats, but yes.

>>37573837
Easy. Pre-pack your clothes + some deodorant the night before. Bike to work wearing whatever you're willing to get sweaty in. Get to work a bit early. Once you get there, go to the bathroom. Dry off, change your clothes and put on some deodorant. There, problem solved.

>>37573866
What pollution comes from biking?
Or are you implying that the mere fact that OP cares about pollution makes him a normie?

Never learnt to ride a bike.

Dad wasn't in life when I was young and Mum was always working so I never got taught. Now whenever I try to learn I get really pissed off and give up.

Also I don't want to be the cancer of the road making everyone slower :^)
>>

oh, tyrone. I'll teach you how to ride a bike if you want.
>>
>>37576408
>Also I don't want to be the cancer of the road making everyone slower :^)
You could always encourage the city to put up more fucking bike lanes.
Why is that so hard? It's literally two feet, divided by white paint. I live in Phoenix, a city full of fuckhuge roads. They could definitely afford to put some bike lanes in there. And if they did, the cyclists would be out of everyone's way and everything would go by a lot smoother. But for some (((unknown reason))), the city won't let that happen. They refuse to put bike lanes virtually anywhere that isn't downtown.

It sucks.

The moral of the story is; if you want to get anything done, you kind of have to be cancerous every now and then. Otherwise, no one will want to do anything about it.

Put back on the original fork. Suspension forks are for mountain biking, nothing else. You will ruin the bike doing what you are trying to do to it. Its not as simple as just sanding it down and spraying it either. Please stop.
