I get that the "tfw when no gf" meme is fucking stupid, but genuinely having someone I jived with, being able to spend my day-to-day with them, having someone to rely on, and also rely on me, would make everything just so much more bearable.

I actually recently met someone online who I got along with really well, I confessed to them (not like poured my heart out, but I let them know I have romantic feelings for them) and it's not like they were disgusted or annoyed, they genuinely seemed to appreciate my feelings, apparently it's the first time anyone confessed to them first. But, they just can't return how I feel or consider anything like that right now I suppose.
