I moved recently to attend college, but the in-state tuition doesn't kick in until I have residency for a year so I'm struggling to even get any job at this point

fuck that shit dude ! you need to get some kind of job my man try for retial as it is always a good starting point despite the age plus its not as bad as fucking fast food fuck that go and get a job at target or a smaller grocer chain and stay a few months after that apply for a call center and learn office skills after that try and transfer to another company or try and get an IT cert from the CompTIA website and go from there you can be living comfy in a year or less no college required
