Wash it with bar soap. Dab a paper towel with apple cider vinegar and press it on your face. Run an ice cube over acne to close up the pores. These are all things I've done separately, and they all work pretty well.

How strong are the products you use to wash your face? If you use any products, I just presume you do.

Because if you wash your face too much, your skin will overcompensate for the loss of oil in your skin.

Cold showers, or at least finish shower in a few mins of cold water. Hot showers open your pours

I'm the anon that posted the first reply. You're supposed to take breaks, and it's a daily process. Expect minor immediate results, but it's gradual. Also, you shouldn't keep ice on that long. Hopefully you don't have frost burn.
