Why don't men have sympathy for other men? It seems like

A loss of cultural identity and religion has just made the effects of toxic masculinity become even more noticeable, imo that's why.

I used to care about everyone but i have been mistreated so long that i just stoped. I can't afford to be kind anymore. People abuse your kindness every time,no exceptions. Now the only people i am nice to and grow attached to are my animals. I don't cry over people,i cry over animals. Animals have treated me better than anyone else has. I wish i wasn't a sociopath but i am.

Yup this, this is why the male suicide rates are so high. Although that is a lot more due to women than men. You could open up to a male friend and know that he'll still be your friend, but you cannot open up to a female as a male because she will treat you like a sub human

Also,men try and have tried to understand women,sympathize with them,get in their shoes. Women,on the other hand,just take the notion "Men are pigs and only want sex" and don't want to hear anything more than that. No analysis,no delving into the male/human soul. No nothing. Next time you sympathize with a woman and try to get in her shoes,ask yourself if she'll ever do the same for you.

I don't believe it's true to say that men don't have sympathy for other men. I know I have sympathy for other men, and I know there are other men who also have sympathy for other men.

The issue is that 'sympathy' is a very limited thing in itself, and men and women are both 'women' oriented, and women receive more sympathy as a result, so male suffering is backgrounded.

Look at the legal system - even when huge numbers of police are women, even when MOST magistrates\judges are women, even when the laws are written by governments elected by a female majority... males get shafted. Both genders value men less, and women privilege themselves at men's expense. Misandry is almost 'natural' to society.

The female voice is also by definition privileged, so female complaints are responded to more, and women have significantly more social and familial connections than men do. Men are also individualist and socialised into roles framed around competition to other men and seeing other men as threats.
