It won't be so bad if you have good grades. However you can always just take it again and they won't even care about your first score.

I took the ACTs and it was all bullshit trick questions. Got one point under and had to take extra classes in college. Load of bullshit.

English section is baby tier but I didn't do very great on the math section either. Khan Acadeny is pretty good for studying, and yes colleges care a lot.

if you have time try to take it again and study. If you do well you can get money from schools. I'm very dumb and ha a 2.9 gpa but i studied a lot and got a 2210 which gave me a good number of scholarship offers.

I once again can't vouch khan academy enough. Also it's a good idea to take practice tests to train being able to focus for the length of the test.

For the comprehension and writing sections you just wanna be certain of your answers even if it means going back to the passage to rationalize one answer over the other.

For math there really aren't any tricks other than study and maybe coding stuff into your calculator.

I just took mine aswell. I think I did OK on the english, struggled a bit with the non calc math but did fine on the 2nd math. nailed the essay so maybe a 1200 or so. If I get anything below that then I can kiss my future good bye.
