You're wrong though. Bad ports happen when publishers decide that making a PC version isn't worth the effort due to low sales and piracy is definitley one of the causes of low PC sales.
Look at Titanfall 2. Amazing game, but the PC version is lacking compared to the console version. Respawn has like, a handful of people overseeing the PC version. Thus why it gets patched less frequently, and PC players are excluded from some events.
