Well, society tends to force people to enact the hero/maiden archetypes. Therefore, in order to be successful, men act how women think they want them to act and women act how they think men want them to act. Now that I'm thinking about that term, though, it's kind of an oxymoron. My original point was that men shouldn't listen to what women say they want (good sense of humor, nice, etc) and just look at who they actually date. If the types of women you like date athletes, go get more athletic. Too many guys complain that women don't date nice guys, but those tend to be the guys who listened to what women want instead of watching what they actually go for. It gives a distorted perspective of women which will ultimately leave them unhappy and confused.
