Have any of you heard of Kino? They were a Soviet rock band in the late 1980s. I don't know why but I feel like they have a robot vibe to their music. Here are some links if you want to hear some of their songs:

The last one gets me. It's called "The Summer Will End" in Russian
I guess nobody likes Kino or has an appreciation for Eastern European rock :(
My thread is going to fucking die

You know that's the beauty of foreign languages
Some sort of emotion that english language would never be able to phonetically put on
I love the russian language and I hope to pursue it someday
As for the song the long drawn out vocals with the gruesome imagery just makes me yearn for someone special

Can I get a quick rundown on Viktor?

I like to think of him as the USSR's Kurt Cobain. He was a rising star in the Soviet music industry in the 80s but died in a fatal car crash in Bulgaria in 1990.

Latvia, my bad. I meant to say Latvia, not Bulgaria.
DDT is another great Soviet band. This is one of my favorite songs ever. Helped me through a lot of rough patches in my life, especially where the fiddle kicks in, sends shivers down my spine.
