Anyone else find the rise and fall of the suburban American shopping mall incredibly fascinating?
Yes.
>tfw you used to go to the EP mall as a kid
Are there any documentaries about malls.
I sometimes try to find video footage on youtube of malls from the 90s but have only found a couple. I really like looking at old photos of mall game stores to see their stock, etc.

the shopping mall near me (in wisconsin) is constantly full of teenagers and moms doing mall shit
people actually drive in from other parts of the state to hang out at the mall
never understood why this happens
malls are absolute degeneracy and i'm glad they're disappearing

Capitalism may be good at producing prosperity, but it sucks at producing any culture that is lasting. Malls were a air conditioned attempt at recreating European plazas that have been around for centuries.
