>When your teacher/manager etc smiles at you while telling you off
Anyone else fucking hate it when they do that?

sorry I'm esl, what does "telling you off" mean
i just ignore everything they do and say indefinitely.
they can't fire you over it as long as you keep doing your job.
I'm not noticeable enough to get told off.

angry discipline against said person
>>37448329
oh what the fuck
I can imagine it's because they don't want to be sued over mistreating students but the dissonance must be horrifying

its to scold or reprimand someone verbally, usually in a rude way, like your boss telling you off might be
"Anon, I can't believe you haven't finished this yet. I assigned this to you almost three days ago, and it should only take one. I don't know why I hired someone as lazy as you, and don't think I don't know you just sit in here watching Anime all day. Pathetic. Get it done."
>have been doing bad at work for the last 2-3 weeks
>manager asks me to come to his office for a talk
>expect to get fired
>"Anon, you mentioned to a coworker that you've been feeling tired lately, are we working you too hard?" t: manager
>"Nah, I've just been having a hard time sleeping with the recent heatwave" t: me
I don't deserve a workplace this good.

hey that's my mom desu

just say "ok" when they are done. or "k" if you're feeling really passive aggressive. they'll inevtiably ask do you have anything else you have to say for yourself and you just reply with a nope. when someone is telling you off one word responses piss them off so much especially if they are in a position of power. don't even apologize unless they ask you to.
