My great grandfather was a mob boss in Chicago and then Cleveland (his group fucked off after Capone took over) in the '30s. Some of my distant cousins are still in, as far as I know, but my side of the family is long out of it.

My father is a capo famiglia of a local clan in the country where I grew up. One of my older brothers was a capodecina. I'm a roastie so I didn't get involved much in their activities and concentrated on my own life. I don't even have a criminal record.

I remember when I was 12, I heard gunshots from the back of my house which was my father executing like two people. We lived rather nicely, but the people around us lived in shitty slum conditions.

They're still my family, but I really detest them and I've since moved far away. (planning on moving to the US later this year)

Different kind of outcasts entirely. I dabbled in crime as a teen with my teenager friends, mostly victimless shit, but glad I stopped being friends with those guys. If you go into a life of crime you need to be prepared to pay the price and most of us won't last a second in jail

My mom's bf is deep into it. They tried to kill him once before and he killed 3 guys with an ak47. He tries to get me every year to go guard the opium crops in the mountains. He even calls me son and gives me money to buy stuff to bribe me but fuck that. Most I do is drive him places sometimes (in his armored car) and I'm shitting my pants the whole time.

Good thing my grandma raised me and strays me away from that life.

Youre right and i was for a little bit because my mother partied and slept with men and took my fathers child payments to spend on makeup and clothes.

I sold drugs to feed myself basically, but i was really bad at it, plus, i got icted to alot of hard drugs.
Thankfully i can get monthly autismbux payments and work part time at a min wage job, so i dont do it anymore.

Youre kind of thinking in the right direction.
Some of them were mental to begin with but its mostly because you have to be a certain way to succeed in organized crime.
You have to always be thinking violent thoughts and be thinking of ways to avoid getting caught or killed.
It eats you up inside and kills you in a really specific way.
By kill, i mean it drastically affects the way you act and think which gives a powerfully disturbing aura off.

I was hired by a subcontractor to work on the metro in Copenhagen which makes sense as I'm Danish. Turns out that the company was Italian and I just thought nothing of it, we live in a globalized world y' know?
Anywho, one day I'm transporting goods from construction site to build site and a guy pulls me over, takes a box off of the truck and says something like "not these ones friend, if you see these give them to me" so I did. Months later he just disappeared and it turns out the company I worked for was ndrangheta and the boxes was cocaine.

i had been stabbed, shot at, and jumped multiple times before i even turned 10 all because my family constantly deals with the wrong people. be it because a cousin stole from a cartel or an uncle started wearing the wrong colors they always find a way to indirectly fuck me whenever possible. when you play games you're putting the lives of everyone you associate with on the line as well. so next time you think hitting a lick is a good idea, imagine coming home to your moms brains dashed across the wall because they thought it was you, or some unfamiliar number telling you they picked up your son from school because you wanted to do some shady shit.

I kind of like showing this off because I think it makes me look cool but the story itself is something tragic and terrible.

My uncle was a drug dealer and eventual boss of his own operation taking in shipments of coke from south America to the tri stare area. Unfortunately he developed a habit (which is how he got into selling and organized crime) which drove him into a dark place. We almost lost our house (we were poor but could just afford a lease) because my roastie mother put up the house to bail him out. He fled to south America where he was murdered. I'm leaving out details on purpose. His assets like vehicles houses fortune etc were taken by roastie exwife and bitch daughter who I met once more in high school by coincidence. Needless to say I didn't want to catch up or be friends. My cousin, son of the uncle, became a better man than anyone in the family thus far. Straightened out his life.
